I built models in my younger years living at home. When I moved out I put all my cars (300) in boxes and bags for storage in my Mother's garage. Two years after I put them there I loaded them up and brought them down to where I was living and gave them to a fellow worker that said he was interested in them. Many years later my son got interested in models and got me back into to them. He got to busy to build but I was sucked back into making models again and I am having a blast building.....

WELCOME to the forum Ron and back to the hobby, so many of us on here have come back to the hobby after being idle for years myself included, the main thing is you're having FUN!! :)

This really does seem to be a common theme among so many of us model builders. For me, I had a problem during 23 years of marriage to a Tennessee spitfire that saw absolutely no redeeming value to such a pointless pursuit. In our marriage, the models weren't all about her. I got to where I didn't build models because, any time she got mad at me, one or more of the models would get smashed. I'm SO glad she divorced me and set me free.

Welcome back ron, like most here i have a similiar story, stepped away and came back, to better tools, better options in aftermarket, enjoying it more than when i was kid. Happy modeling and again welcome aboard
