alangarber Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Weekend job with the lowboy and New Ray Excavator. I may change the Lowboy color yet haven't decided. The Load was red and grey but just came from the paint factory. The truck broke down so they had to lease a tractor from Ryder for delivery ">http:// ">http://http://s231.photobucket.com/user/alangarber/media/Semi%20Models/Excavator002.jpg.html'>

tbill Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Alan, you build some dynamite looking rigs! another beauty
Plastheniker Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Alan, you chose a very attractive load. Could you give some more information about it?
alangarber Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) Alan, you chose a very attractive load. Could you give some more information about it? Thanks all Jurgen, It's just an excavatoe from the New Ray 1/32. (but it is a bigger scale) I just took out the screws and spray painted it and put it back together. I added wire for the hydrolick lines and added some tubing for the lines to go into. I looked on google images to find a similliar looking one and it turned out to be the 325B L hope this helps Edited June 24, 2014 by alangarber
kilrathy10 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Excellent use of the low boy trailer.....And nice work on the excavator.....The yellow has been expertly applied.....Beautiful....
towman1271 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Great job..Dont know how you punch these out so quick. Been working on my RD Mack for over a year now.. But keep em coming

Old Buckaroo Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Alan - I like all three ! Another great addition to a fine collection. You better chain that excavator down or it will slide right off there as if it was greased.
alangarber Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 It comes with the New Ray 1/32 truck but it's too large for it. It does fit more like a 1/25. just look up New Ray Low Boy and you should find it. There is a crane too I want as well. Alan - I like all three ! Another great addition to a fine collection. Petetrucker07 Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Funny thing about new ray, i know theyre toys but most of that stuff isnt scaled correctly, trailers too tall, rims too big, but thats good to know about the equipment looking closer to 1/25. That stuff is way cheaper than say buying a 1/25 CAT loader or excavator

Superpeterbilt Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I dont know how I missed this one. Nice job, and good info on the trackhoe.
mnwildpunk Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Sounds like this load isn't going to make delivery and budget if you rented a ryder truck and the driver hasn't shown up yet
