Snap chevy 3500, to build or not to build?

They go together without any issues. Most of the cab parts from any of the AMT C1500 kits are a direct swap, and the cabs will swap with the beds. This one isn't quite done yet, I'm in the process of putting a partially detailed underhood in it, top half of the engine, master cylinder, etc. I'm leaving the frame as is. All the parts from the 454SS kit fit right in.

A snap kit, has the front bumper from the USA-1 monster truck.

Another snap kit, with the camper trailer made into a slide-in camper. The cab step stirrups are from the AMT KW sleeper.

The Modelhaus offers a replacement chassis for this kit that allows you to use the engine and suspension pieces from an AMT kit (SS454 is the most likely given it's big engine) to build this into a fully detailed model. It is shown in their catalog (2013) for $12.00 and for another $2.00 they also offer mirrors for the kit.

These kits do build up easily and are very accurate in their appearance. It would be a nice kit to have back on the shelf.

Funny, I bought four of the promo's for a whole $10.00 each. Two red two green Now I only have a red one left, but I'm keeping it! we have a farm toy show in Van Wert ohio every September. That's where I bought mine , The fella had two cases of them . Most likely he will be at the show again this year , and will be selling them again! Anyone who lives in the quad state area could get to Van Wert Ohio for this show! they have lost of neat things to see and buy.
