Pim Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 great to see another couple of people on board just post your entries and I will add your names to the list
Evilbenny Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 I would like to join in if its not too late. This kind of build is what I enjoy the most. I will have to dig through the stash and figure out what Im going to use.
Pim Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 go for it as is said in a previous post there's no entry or finish time just post what you're building and I will add your name to the list
Jaguar man 21 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Does this build have a certain time that the cars need to be finished by, I have the Ed Roth ford pickup I could build
Jaguar man 21 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Nevermind there's no time frame, I plan on possibly making it a rat rod style shop truck
Evilbenny Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Pim, I will be working on a 81 Citation. I figured the Citation would be right at home in its natural environment of a junkyard. I got started right away. I removed the rear spoiler and filled in the turbo scoop on the hood to replicate a stock piece. Don't worry I took the pic when the putty was still wet. It will be sanded.
Evilbenny Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I made some progress on the Citation. I did some more body work and just about completed the engine and under-body. Got started on the interior. I've been trying to use craft paint's. Its working ok so far. Chris Chapman makes it look easy but, there is defiantly a learning curve to using this stuff.
Pim Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Wow looking good I must get to work on my mustang I have being busy with school
Evilbenny Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Got this one all wrapped up this weekend. I tried to use craft paint's but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. This was really fun Pim. I may have to do another one before too long.
Pim Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Well my mustang has broken so I am changing mine to a 69 chevelle with crude tow truck beam and cutting torch
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I'm changing mine, don't know what to though my gmc fell off my bench and SHATTERED
chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Can I join? I've got a Bel Air pickup that would be pretty cool with a tow boom in it.
wrecker388 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I am nearly finished with my 65. It needs license plates and some pictures put here.

chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Awesome! Just put it in the Purple a while ago, and should see basecoat tonight!
wrecker388 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Here's my 65. Re-powered with a 6 from Monogram's 53 Bel-Air. Wood Bed, modified boom from Lindberg 34 Ford, Wheels and tires from Monogram's 70 Roadrunner.Wood push bumper. Superhlue crazing is 10 times worse in pictures than in real life. Here are some pics:
