Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Got this one finished... I would definitely build this kit again, however, I'm a bit annoyed at the fact the hood won't close completely flush.. I even sanded the air cleaners and trimmed the mounting posts on the carbs... And those side windows forget it! But anyways, here it is...
DynoMight Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I had the same problem with the hood. I just pushed it forward and then down at the same time and it closed pretty much flush.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 Thanks guys... Glenn, I didn't try that yet... But I'll do that..
cobraman Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Looks good, nice job. You could perhaps sand or grind some plastic from the underside of the hood to get the hood to fit the way you want.
donb Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Whoa that is nice! I built this kit years ago and those side windows were a pain in the neck! Love that color too. Would look right at home on a gasser! hmmm.....
