dragcarz Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I didn't want to hijack another post, but his post got me looking at some of my old builds from 20 or so years ago. I don't think they look too bad in my opinion. Your opinions and comments are always welcome. The AMT 64 Ford is a what if . it started as a glue bomb I bought at a local show, I striped everything including the chrome as it was bad, some rattle can white and a set of JNJ decals from Jeff Gordon's rookie car. The Camaro is OOB Revell kit , only mod I made was to open front grill and install a mesh grill. The Tide Lumina started as a Days Of Thunder kit. Was originally be Ken Schraders Kodiak car after two failed paint jobs, I airbrushed the Tide scheme Fred Cady decals and automotive C/C
disabled modeler Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I like them Roger....I am not much for the Nascar like stuff but but dig the 60s and 70s stuff...nice work.
bbowser Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Nice fade on the Tide car! This era is what got me back into the hobby, great builds.
Truck parts Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 That's some great builds. Always love the old builds.
james460 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 nice job on the 17 paint fade. That's dead bang on.
Florent Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I like the old school short trackers. Your '54 Ford is a very nice build. In these days, Modified and Late Model Sportsman cars ran with no backglass. This is also why AMT did not provide them in the kits but nevertheless, the car looks great.
brw Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I have watched the #52 car run in the ASA series. Butch Miller the driver was one good short tracker!
jdean Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 nice builds , I am not a big nascar fan ,altho this past year i watched a lot of them,I have become a Danica Patrick fan. would love to see her win one. would like to build a model of the go daddy if i could find one Ronnie
