bbowser Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Great color and foil work. Another outstanding replica from your bench!
StevenGuthmiller Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Thanks for your comments everybody, very much appreciated. I mixed the colour with Zero base coats and it represents Chrysler's "Dawn Blue". Cleared with Tamiya. Looked at some color chips & you nailed it! The color looks pretty much exact! Nice work! Steve
wisdonm Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Very realistic looking and well made. Brings back fond memories, I used a black 300H for towing my race car form 1970-73. The trunk was so huge that once I packed it with tools and spares, including a transmission, I just worked out of it and never unpacked it. You couldn't tell if you were towing or not. It got 8,5mpg either way;
Mopar - D Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Peter excellent build on your 300 H. Did the 4 bucket seat interior come in your kit or did you have to order it from Modelhaus? Your color looks perfect too.
thatz4u Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I remember building this way back when I was a kid, nice job
om617 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Sure looks amazing,great finish and detail. So used to see these as dusty gluebombs on ebay,so it`s nice to see one restored and brought to life.

Your color looks perfect too. Dan, I used the kit's incorrect interior as shown here... Modelhaus has correct 300 hubcaps too but I didn't bother.
