A good chance in the 'Bloodless, Sweatless, and Tearless' category!!   :P

'Course, if it doesn't place, it would be . . . the . . . pits.  ^_^

Enuf silliness. The paint has dried thoroughly but now we've got cold and rainy weather so it will be awhile before the second coat. I was able to get the parachute done with the cords and mounted to the subframe. Wasn't able to take a picture or two late last night so I'll do that tonight.

As promised, here's a few pictures of the parachute installed on the rear subframe that has been shot with Alclad. Man, I need to dust.

Once it drys out and warms up a bit, I hope to get at let one additional coat of paint on the body before applying the decals. Almost at the finish line.

You nailed it Brad. Love the color, even if all we get to see is the tail. You decided to go with Orange Blossom deodorant. Good call.

I can hardly wait for decalage.

Look pretty nice Brad! you know dust and all..HA!  but its Arizona....when is there NOT dust on something even 3 seconds after you dust it off!

Alright fellas, since a few of you commented about only seeing partial paint on this build I thought I'd take a few quick pics of the painted body on the chassis and hopefully without all of the dust. I really like the color and before any of you guys say the engine paint doesn't match the body, the 1:1 didn't either.

It needs another coat of paint but its raining like crazy here so no paint for at least a few days.

Stay tuned.

Thanks guys. In looking at the photos, seems to me the rear tire is too small in diameter. They're the tallest pie crusts I have though.

Thx guys. Appreciate you following along. With clear skies forecasted for this week, maybe I can get the second coat on this on Saturday.

I had plans to get the decals on this bad boy today and couldn't for the life of me find them. I searched and searched. Then I went through my computer to at least find the file that would prove that I had these printed. Couldn't find that either. Finally dawned on me that the file possibly could be on my laptop and found it and it appears I never sent them off to Chief Joseph at Fireball Modelworks. Just took care of that little detail right now. It'll be a couple of days before I get them in the mail.

I was going to say something smart alecky about people with bad memories. Then when I started typing, I forgot what it was.

So I got up and went into the hobby room to clear my head. So I'm standing in the middle of the hobby room, looking around to see what I came in there for.

I gave up after a few minutes and swept the floor and found a 00-90 nut in the dust pan. I was so happy I decided to get on the computer and tell my friends about it.

What was your problem again?
