hookedonplastics
I am currently working on a pair Daytonas inspired by an old episode of Chasing Classic Cars. In the show, both Ferraris were gold, but I decided that one of them had to be Italian Red for my build. I still have a long way to go... DynoMight
The interior is great! Are the gauges decals or paint?
hookedonplastics
Thanks Glenn! They are dry brushed with silver and then a couple of coats of Future to simulate glass (that is hard to see in the photos). The two needles were done with a red Sharpie. No, I think I may have scraped a little too much paint (black) off of the needle before I used the Sharpie. Kinda looks like it is vibrating at idle, doesn't it? slusher
Both look great, but the gold is different from the most builds I have seen. Great work so far...

The gold on those old Ferraris is a real unassuming color. It took many tries to get it right!Nice build Tom! I like the color combination!
