The August 2009 issue of Collectible Automobile has a good article on Trabants including a Universal that had a roof rack with a tall A frame tent built onto it. The caption claimed it was a popular accessory. This would make an interesting modification for the kit.

Ah! Another thread back from the dead.  I've brought this one to the front of the bench as part of the "Bring Out Your Dead" thread and group build.  

The body is just sitting on the chassis in this photo, sitting a bit high in the front.  Once it's together it will sit right.  Recent work is the paint job and the black line detailing.  I made the decals. Hopefully I'll be finishing it up soon!
