ferrarijoe Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 This kit was a pain. Nothing lined up on the frame, but happy with result. Paint is custom mix of Model Masters silver and cobalt blue. I frenched in the headlights and stripped all the chrome off except the hub caps.
om617 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I think it looks really nice. A white steeringwheel and gearknob would maby be somthing?
unclescott58 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Wow! Very nice. I really like the color. Scott
ferrarijoe Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Thanks for the compliments guys. The doors didn't line up, so I glued them open. The whole body needed work. molds were off so there was a big seam and had wave and sinks. I wont by a Minicraft again.
sjordan2 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 This was originally a Gakken kit, reboxed by Entex and then by Minicraft. So, while Minicraft has repeated problems found in earlier versions of this and some other kits, you can't really apply those failures to all Minicraft kits. This is still the most complete and accurate Gullwing kit out there. The 1/16 Italeri GW has similar and worse problems, and the 1/12 Revell/Monogram kit is a total disaster.
