JTalmage Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Just thinking about future modelling ideas. I'm curious if a '68 Ranchero exists... I would love to have one. I'm eventually going to try and build as many of the Roadkill cars as possible.
fractalign Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) Hey Jesse. Not sure if I can help you with a resin one but I just read about a guy who put one together by combining a 66 Fairlane Ranchero with a 68 Grand Torino fastback. Hope that helps ! Edited August 6, 2014 by fractalign
RAT-T Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 HI JEFF, WHAT ABOUT A '66/67 RANCHERO? I THINK SOMEONE USE TO CAST ONE.

drodg Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 its on list list..my very, very looong list.... Jeff do you have a 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E on that list? I hope....
Fabrux Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 I think Tonka put out a plastic 68 Ranchero that is roughly 1:25 scale or so. No idea how difficult it would be to turn into a full detail model, though.
triplelindy Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 RMR resin does a 68 or 69. I dont know the difference.I have it, pretty nice.

JTalmage Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 I'm working on creating a '68/'69 that will eventually possibly be casted. It's based off the AMT '69 Torino Cobra
falcon wagon Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Do you have any pics of yours? Yes I do here it is
Crazed Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Here's one of my projects..... The roofline on this one looks great, is this a resin body?

JTalmage Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 Looking forward to see what you come up with. Thanks, I'm using the bed and B pilar/back half of the room from the AMT '65 or '66 El Camino. They look more like the Ford styling. I keep forgetting to take pictures of it. I'll see if I can dig some up.
fairlane1320 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 The roofline on this one looks great, is this a resin body? No, it's an AMT Cobra fastback spliced to a '65 El Camino bed. I was surprised how well it went together. I still have a ways to go.... https://public.fotki.com/fordflashback/1-25-1968-69-fairlanes/1969-talladega-ranchero/
