Chi-Town Hustler Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Stan; That's a nifty little project and your chassis work looks great.... Always loved small block Vegas as drag cars....Heck, if I was doing it, I'd be tempted to drop a 331 smallblock w/ dual Holleys in it, stretch the wheel wells, paint it white and call it "Grumpy's Toy"!!!....Always loved his Vegas!!
chunkypeanutbutter Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 My dad had a Vega with a Firebird V8 in it. He said no matter what gear you were in it could smoke the tires!

W-409 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Looking good so far! I like how the engine looks, the shade of that orange is excellent. Good looking air cleaner, too. Where is it from? The wheels will look good under this body, even if I'm not the biggest fan of those Convo Pros. But I'm pretty sure they'll fit nicely in a Vega.
