crazyrichard Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 thnx richard (hihi) just started the detail painting .. more to come , the green will get some clear gloss later
crazyrichard Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 thnx !! whell painted more clear on the green , made the drill table like irl matte steel depth in the holes with a wash then fitted the parts ... still needs a switch panel with on/off switch , a powercord that gos into a wall outlet and some iron filings from drilling op de hendels moeten nog zwarte ronde knopjes
Dandydan Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Nothing short of amazing Richard. Hats off to you sir.
crazyrichard Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 its on the bench , added switches and a powercord with plug into the wall socket
crazyrichard Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 just did some mild weathering , i want to keep the garage relativly clean but soem stuff just have to have some grease and filth to be more convincing started on the vice and drill , look at the vice and compare it to the last pic of the previous post , that really helped make the vice look more realisctic , before the wash it looked more like a toy i guess .. the drill got some very mild black along the lines and creases of the silver .. just to make it pop more and define the lines better while at the same time creating a illusion of shade .. didnt go all out i'd reather add a bit later then overdo it now the lift .. the white has a slight blur of black , on the pics it doent really show the white lights up to much in pictures .. the lift legs got a wilder wash really getting black in the creases ...
crazyrichard Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 started a grindstone bench ... very rough start > these stones are from a dremel , i didnt have the ticker round ones anymore .. i will try to make some styrene stones and make them look like grindstoned , although these are not like bad ..
crazyrichard Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 painted the housing red , the foot base (square below) will be painted a nother color later .. also made grind stones from plastic rings , looks way better in tickness and shape
crazyrichard Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 paint dryed , fitted the grindstones , now i need to ad the switch , cord and plug ... the clear protection pads
bpletcher55 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 RICHARD , love it did you use a a old model a rear for that grinder ?
crazyrichard Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 thnx and yes blair you are spot on !!!! i had a axle with dif. left so ... its in , powercord , some filth and some grinddust on the bench
