This one may be a little obscure! Steve

"You're hot stuff with a hat pin,

& good fun with a handgun.

You're nearly a laugh,

You're nearly a laugh but you're really a cry"

Pink Floyd, Pigs.

Hmmm... awfully quiet around here. Where did all the music lovers go? :D

Here's another one. Sort of obscure, but got a ton of airplay here on the local "progressive rock" station I listened to back in the day...

"Let me make my point before I meander,

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander"....

Come on how... what other song ever rhymed "meander" and "gander?"

"And the man in the back is ready to crack

as he raises his hands to the sky,

And the girl in the corner is everyone's woman

she could kill you with a wink of her eye."

Steve

Sounds familiar but I'm not 100% sure.

Ballroom Blitz? I think the band was Sweet?

"Heading out this morning into the sun...

Riding on the diamond waves, little darlin' one"...

"Saturday night I was downtown,

working for the FBI.

Sittin' in a nest of bad men,

whiskey bottles piling high."

Steve

The lyrics you're posting look familiar, but I can never remember where they're from! :P Steve

Close your eyes and think... the songs will come to you. B)

"Neon lights, a Nobel prize,

then a mirror speaks, the reflection lies,

You don't have to follow me,

only you can set me free."

Steve

This one is Living Colour's "Cult of Personality".......!

See! I knew you could do it... B)

(although technically you didn't mention the band, which is Heart)... ;)

That I did know. Just neglected to mention it. Barracuda is one of my favorite songs of all time!

I think it was called "Judy Blue Eyes". Crosby, Stills & Nash. Or was Young still around? :) Steve

That song is about Stephen Stills' infatuation with Judy Collins
