People didn't think too much of him

They all thought he acted funny

The old man didn't care about people anyway

All he cared about was his money

She climbs into bed

Pulls the covers overhead

And she turns her little radio on

She's had a rotten day

So she hopes the DJ's

Gonna play

Her favorite song

"Dancin' in the sand down on the beach

Girls are out of sight, but not out of reach

Smell the salty air

See bikinis everywhere

Girls come every day, you'll find 'em there..."

Hint: This band's first seven singles hit the Billboard Top Ten (but this wasn't one of them; it was in a movie soundtrack).

Gary Lewis and the Playboys - "Malibu Run" (from the movie Out of Sight)

My heart beats like a drum (all night)
Flesh to flesh, one to one (and it's alright)
And I'll never let go cause
There's something I know deep inside

Gimme all of you lovin' - ev'ry little bit
Gimme all that you got - ev'ry bit of it
Ev'ry bit of your lovin - oh, c'mon live a bit
Never want it to stop

Rod Stewart - "Downtown Train"

I've done a mash-up of this song and Joe Walsh's "Ebony Eyes" - came out interesting but still needs work.

haha... yea, it's one of those mornings.....

Er war ein Punker

Und er lebte in der großen Stadt

Es war Wien, war Vienna

Wo er alles tat

Er hatte Schulden denn er trank

Doch ihn liebten alle Frauen

Und jede rief:

Come on and ____ __ _______________

So he went back to the valley

And that's why the cats so mean

haha, great song, I looked at this yesterday, had no clue, reread it today and "BING"

it's the kingsman - the jolly green giant. what a classic!!!

I think you may have some of the lyrics twisted, but thats OK, love those oddball songs. I love the guy saying all the vegetables at the end of every sentence.
