The kid who won American Idol last year could step right in and sing lead for them--or any other '70s or '80s band with the possible exception of Queen. And he might even be able to do Queen.

They both had a time and place in rock and roll history that was timeless! For those who are old enough or had a older sibling that was into music in the sixties we lost a great female singer in Leslie Gore today from Cancer. She was 69 years young. May she rest in peace!
