mikemopar70 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Hi fellows! Here's my new project, the Aoshima curbside K.I.T.T.in 1/24th scale with working front scanner! I bought this kit in a hobby shop near NNL East last april, i decided to follow my heart and build a kit that remebres my teen years. I painted the body with a custom mix basecoat from PPG and it's been cleared with Testor's wet-look lacquer, i'm waqiting two or three weeks before polishing for the clear to be throughly dry.. In the meantime i began the interior, wich by the way, is very well detailed with decals for the dashboard instruments! Here's the first pics.. I'll be back soon with further developpements... Mike...

skymnky721 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Nice job,,I just watched this show last night,,fun show,,and car.
Mopar - D Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Nice work so far on your K.I.T.T car. How are you going to make the front scanner to work?
mikemopar70 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) The scanner is included in the Aoshima kit, you have the choice to have it included or not, of course the kit wich include the scanner is about 20$ more expensive but for me it's Worth the money!!! Thank's everyone for comments!! Edited September 1, 2014 by mikemopar70

captjeffro26 Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 This brings me back to when I was a kid. K.I.T.T. was my favorite car. I had the big toy (1/12?) with Michael Knight. You pressed the licence plate to make K.I.T.T talk. Very cool. You should build K.A.R.R and display them together. LOL
