Driving for Junie Dunleavey ( whom passed this summer ) for the 1970 season, winning the Rookie of the Year honors and winning the Permatex 300 three consecutive time (72-73-74).

A Terry Barton resin of the 68/69 "W" nose Mercury Cyclone. The decals #'s and quarter panel sponsors come from the MK decal sheets while the rear panel are dry transfer. With several projects going on, the chassis will come shortly since the painting of the hood scallops were the hardest part of the scheme.

Absolutely great look projects, keep us posted. Those Mercury bodies from Terry Barton are so nice to work, I've bought a few so far.

Thanks for doing the Junie Donleavey / Bill Dennis car. Junie was by far one of the nicest car owners in NASCAR, Bill was a fantastic driver. I watched Bill on the local short tracks for years and was always a fan.

Once again your work looks great, keep the pics coming.

Happy modeling, Vernon

Excellent work on both of them !

I always thought the Bill Dennis paint scheme was won of the nicest back then , I was in the infield when he won in '73 and '74 ! :D
