Old Buckaroo Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I think it looks more at home on the IH Scout. I have seen a lot of 1/1 rigs set up like that. Only thing is yours doesn't have the trademark rust on the fender lips and under the door.
disabled modeler Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I like it on the old Scout myself....going to have to find the plow from one of these kits now....LOL...
1930fordpickup Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 It looks good on both. A Scout would be a great plow truck. The short wheel base is a plus.
ranma Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Black Chevy Promo extended cab long bed is the truck I used on the second snow plow , The scout was the first one to receive the plow. Seeing that I bought two of the 77 GMC's , neither one has the plow so I decided to do these two instead.
Maxicoop Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Great builds Scott...... hopefully we won't get the snow like last year or you'll be using both to clear the roads !!!!! I too think it looks and will work better in the scout ....more weight on the wheels !!!
mikemodeler Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I bought a bunch of those GMC trucks just for the plows! They will end up on some Broncos, Blazers, Scouts, Jeeps, Ford Pickups, I have a big stash!
rmvw guy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Nice job! The plow looks new clean and ready.
