OldTimer50707 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 That is one neat looking model. The workmanship is fantastic.
Krazy Rick Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Barris didn't do the Monkeemobile. He took credit for it (like a bunch of other cars he didn't do). Dean Jeffries did the Monkeemobile. Your right Harry, 99% of the cars Barris claims to have done, are other peoples work - it's amazing how many guys don't have a clue. - He's the King of B.S.
hobbybobby Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 Thank you very much for the kind words, it means a lot to me! Clever! Now if you had made the scoop look like an electric guitar pickup, that would have been even more clever! Yes, Harry, that would have been another possibility, that's what I've heard a few times before, but the barrel is a omage to the album Barrel Full of Monkees, this was a compilation album of songs by The Monkees, released in 1971 by Colgems Records, and was the last LP issued by the label.
ZIL 111V Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 WOAH!!! Very, very nice, impresive & meticulous work... also see you know your Rock music history!
