AMT 1966 Chevy Nova (Mild custom)

Just purchased new kit and looking too try and create a replica of my own 66 Chevy II Nova so will have to do some mild custom work. This will be my 1st custom work & paint kit so looking forward to the challenge.

Looking great! ! It is nice to be able build your 1; 1.do you have more pictures of your 1:1 ? And good looking Nova.Your blessed to be able have kit to start from.I would love it if a model company would kit a 1973 or 74 Nova.mine is 74.

Good looking Nova. A lot of work ahead reshaping the roof on the hardtop. I would take the easy way out and look at the body at MCWAUTOMOTIVE FINISHES. They have a stock '66 tudoor body. I have used their bodies in the past, and they are very accurate.

Thanks guys!! I'm thinking I will just do color scene from my 1:1 and do some mild custom stuff for my 1st time out. Espo I think at some point I will purchase the stock Chevy II from MCWAUTOMOTIVE FINISHES. Thanks for info on site. I will post some more pics of my 1:1 as soon as I convert to small size.
