You need it to say Edelbrock, right? Because otherwise that's very close to the open-element air cleaner in several kits with big block Chevies that I know of. Of course they don't say Edelbrock.

i want to say one of the 55 chevy pickup kits has something very similar, don't remeber if its the cameo or stepside version( pretty sure its the stepside street machine version) it has edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner sorry no box art pic

I think that the AMT '55 Chevy stepside pickup has a matching set of Edelbrock valve covers and breather. If I recall correctly, they were the billet aluminum style though.

NOT the '55 Chevy, it has the cast finned type.

Like this one-

I believe the AMT '34 Ford street rod kit has an air cleaner like the one in Ian's link, but it might be a Weiland- I seem to remember that kit came with an one or the other logo on the air cleaner and one or the other on the valve covers, but I don't recall which was which. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I checked the two I have in the stash- one is the stock only version, and my street rod version is missing the small block Chevy parts.

It is a Weiand as best I recall. I can check as I think I still have one kit.

Yes. It is a Weiand air cleaner but looks similar to the Edelbrock you depicted. Oddly, the chrome valve covers are Edelbrock.

I'm pretty confused right now. I have the '55 Chevy Stepside Street Machine and my kit has the Edelbrock Air Cleaner and Valve Covers. I swear I have a kit that has the Weiand cleaner and covers, but I cannot remember which one it is. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I think the 66 Nova has the Weiand for a SBC

Valve covers, yes, but not an air cleaner.  The Nova has a dual-quad setup.  I'm pretty certain it's the AMT '34 Ford 5W coupe that has the Weiand air cleaner.  The '55/'57 Chevy street machine truck kits have the pseudo-billet Edelbrock parts.  I don't think there is any kit out there with a stamped style Edelbrock air cleaner.

I was thinking off the top of my head as I am out of town watching the start of our new house.  I thought the original issue 66 Nova had the Weiand air cleaner.  On Edelbrock air cleaners, for sure MCG did several different versions.
