Scottnkat Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 This started life as the AMT '63 Galaxie customizing kit. I cut out the rear seat and console and used sheet styrene to make it an empty interior. I cut out the radio and extras from the dash, made a gauge panel and homemade decals for the dashboard. I scratched up the rollcage with styrene rod. The seat is from Modelhaus. I used brass tubing for the exhaust. The wheels and tires are homemade resin pieces. The decals were from Slot Car Fever. The hood and trunk pins are needles and wire with sequins for the plates. I used Alclad on the bumpers and grill. It's not modeled after any specific race, but is just an interpretation of how the car might have looked at some point that year. The interior I did nothing special under the hood - it's just stock One final pic
