Here is some thing that has been ongoing for a couple years..I work on it in bits here and there.

I have always loved the early Vega body style, and when the twister was reissued,I grabbed a couple and a 70 1/2 Camaro and decided to morph them together.

Here is where it is so far.

I first started by chopping up the Camaro front end and hood, and grafting the pieces onto the Vega.

This was done a year ago,and I only just got back on it today..Here I added a bit of the camaro flavor out back.

Still a long way to go.

Not sure what to do about the rear bumper. Not sure I want to put the stock one on,or just fill in the recess.

I agree with Rob. Graft the Camaro tail panel to the Vega. At first I thought, just put the Camaro bumper on, but it would look great to do the whole panel.

You did a great job on the front too!

After you do that, you need to put the front split bumpers on it as well. That was actually a common mod for the 1:1. Great looking project. Keep us posted.

looking good!!! Great job

One of my favorite rides as a youth

was a Kammback wagon that belonged to

my boss.

I worked at a Chevrolet dealership in Clayton Ga.

back in the late 70's as a teenager. The Vega was

one of our parts chasers/loaners/employee drivers.

That baby was a great ride until one of the guys

shifted 3rd to 1st coming down a 10% grade.

When the B50 13's in the rear caught

the clutch became space dust. That

Lil 'Vega was never the same after that.
