jefropas Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 Looking at all the writeup on that website, I'd say the suggestion may be more of an affirmation....at least I hope so.... Jeff
mopargreg Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I did offer a 70 r/t or base conversion less then a year ago for 65.00, based on the revell kit, the mold died. Hey Kevin, Any chance you would think about making new molds for the 70 Charger?
kruleworld Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Resin still aint cheap. Resin models CAN be cheap, but you get what you pay for, and a $20 resin body that looks like it was carved from cheese is what you end up with.
kevin Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Hey Kevin, Any chance you would think about making new molds for the 70 Charger? Always, 1 the master is still alive, the problem here is sales & time...i cant count how many other items i have in the staging lanes for example the 73 chevelle has a waiting lsit over a year long, when they are ready i drop a line to those on the list...most of them dont even reply! I do have a replcement porject for the 70 in the works, so let's see how those sales go, then determine if i can fit it in the schedule & if there is more than a little demand
martinfan5 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I would rather see a 2014 Charger kitted, but I wouldnt mind seeing a nice stock 2n1 70's Charger tooled up.
kruleworld Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I hate to bring it up. But, wasn't the Fast&Furious '70 Charger that AMT/RC2 put out years ago a modified version of the MPC '70? no, it was their dukes of hazzard 69 charger
jefropas Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 Does anyone know if Modelhaus resin has the R/T side scoops on the doors, along with the grille? For some reason I cannot find it... Jeff
Sport Suburban Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 The Modelhaus kit does have the R/T scoops molded on the doors and in the grill. It is a direct copy of the MPC kit.
om617 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 You can find a direct link here to the '70 Charger R/T. http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/3023/ currently there's 674 votes, but this is for a new development, but converting one by Revell is still the better option. It now has 736 votes.
