As I've given up on Revell and it's love affair with "vintage iron" these days, I'm hoping that Tamiya would take a serious look at the Aussie Super V8 series. There are only a few brands on the track but a company like Studio 27 (a Japanese Slixx, if you will) could fill in the gaps with all the available teams that are currently competing these days. I'd buy more than my share from both Tamiya and Studio 27 if they would get around to kitting these cars.

Both of those look very interesting. Certainly the rally version looks very different. Street custom is kinda cool too. Not bad prices at least from whomever you're purchasing from.

Isn't the car marketed as the Scion FRS here in the USA, the same car as the 2 above?

Yeah Bill, same car , the Subaru has a different front bumper , the grill opening is different, and there are difference's in the headlights as well for all three of them.

The US version is sold under the Scion brand and called the FRS

You can also buy the BRZ in the US too. But it is harder to find. It's kind of like a Nissan/Datsun type thing. You either see a ton of one or a ton of the other.

I forgot to mention that.

It shoupd be noted that Tamiya's kits of those two cars can only be built as Japanese Domestic Market cars. There are NO LHD parts in either.

If you want to build a North American Spec BRZ or a Scion FR-S you need the Aoshima kits. Which conveniently happen to be the better models anyways.
