stavanzer Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Four 1/35 Scale Tamiya Dinosaur Kits. No Good reason, and I paid $61.00 for all four kits. But, they are brand new and sealed. Not sure when (or even if) I'll build them. But, my Daughter in Law, is a Paleontologist, so maybe they'll end up as Xmas gifts. She and my son paint Warhammer & Fantasy figures so that might be where they go. 6

JollySipper Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Had to order another controller for the PlayStation, so while I was ordering (and to make the purchase $25 for free shipping) I got a couple 'new' games.......... One is a Hot Wheels game called "Beat That!", and the second one is one I had never heard of. It's called "Hypersonic Xtreme"........... It's hovercraft racing! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-Surfers G-Surfers is the Euro name of the game......... I haven't tried it out yet, but game footage on YT looks great! 2
martinfan5 Posted August 10 Posted August 10 I got a cargo van( a few weeks ago) for my mobile DJ needs, 2009 Chevy Express 2500 with a whole LOT of miles . 3

RSchnell Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Hit Harbor Freight for a few things, found out they had one of their sales going on. Grabbed one of these Quinn socket sets for 40% off.. I have mostly SK sockets/ratchets but not much in the 1/4" line. Giving these a good look over, I think they'll do the job nicely. 3
meechum68 Posted August 17 Posted August 17 My daughter got me this: She knows I enjoy One Piece, and it's like Magic the Gathering from what I have figured out so far. I know nothing of that so for me it's likely to become a wall hanging. 1

That's how it starts, before you know it you've got an entire garage full, and still somehow you keep buying more. Clean them up, sharpen them, and put them to work.👍👍 1

Ace-Garageguy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Found an OEM dash top panel for the neon for reasonable money. Some of them disintegrated, like mine did when I tried to remove it to rescue the keys its then-owner had somehow managed to lose in the center defrost duct. Having the right dash top will be a nice improvement over the gray bath towel that's been there ever since. First job when it gets here, hopefully in one piece, is to pull a mold from the top side. The replacement will inevitably dry out and crack up like the original did, but having a mold, I'll be able to lay up another one in a couple of hours. 1

All have been built, and she and my Son are painting them now. They turned ou to be the Perfect Gift!
