metalhead Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Saw this beautiful stretched Pete at work while on break. He was pulling a matching trailer with it.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) Saw this transfer this afternoon. So Cal sure has some purty dirt haulers. Edited April 9, 2015 by Petetrucker07
Petetrucker07 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 These were in the main yard this morning. They belong to the owner my company. Just part of his restored antique truck collection.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 I couldn't get a pic, but there is a bubble nose pete and a bull nose KW in the shop.
kilrathy10 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 That sounds pretty cool....Hope you can get a shot or two of them......You see a lot of cool looking trucks out there, Man....Keep those pics coming.....
o-man Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Those old trucks are cool! Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of truck is that Ford sitting on?
Superpeterbilt Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Those old trucks are cool! Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of truck is that Ford sitting on? Thats a Diamond T. Clayton, that FL daycab sure is a sweet rig. Those 5 hole Alcoas are beautiful. If you can get some shots of the Bullnose, and bubblenose I would love to see them. Have they done any work to the 281, or the Autocar?
Old Buckaroo Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Clayton - those pics are really nice. Man I love that Freightliner, I want to build a model of that one. Pretty awesome Diamond T with the jailhouse grill also !

They just got done repainting this International the same shades of green as the others. They started restoring the 1st heavy haul truck the company ever had, a 359 Pete. I'm not sure what motor or what year. I'll do more investigating. Here's a pic of the Bullnose KW and a few others I could google. I'm not sure if this is the same bubblenose or not, but it looks just about the same. Edited April 15, 2015 by Petetrucker07
Petetrucker07 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 He has quite a collection of old iron. He is or was vice president of the ATHS out here.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Here's some yard art I saw today while waiting to get on the scale after getting loaded.
Relic_Models Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Really like that crane and Euclid. Saw a couple, new, Westernstars being delivered today; never see those around here.
Superpeterbilt Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 That crane sure is a helluva tire swing! That poor dump truck is going to be dumping those rocks for eternity.

Tesla Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Clayton your boss has a real nice collection...thanks for posting the pics.
tbill Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Clayton, great pics man! I had to do a little traveling for work, while tooling down the New York State thruway Thursday, I saw two car carriers the resembled the revell kit ( I was shocked to see one, let alone two!). On the way home today on the thruway, I saw two old coe's, one IH and one Pete, and of the hundreds of rigs I saw on this little trip, I saw only one lonestar. Unfortunately, I was driving, so no pics, but seeing the stuff was neat and I wanted to share.
Chuck Most Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I don't think I've seen a 720 this clean in.... well, I don't think I've EVER seen one as well-preserved as this in Michigan.
Chuck Most Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Dug this out of a barn yesterday- '57 Ford T700.
Guest Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 The T700 looks to be in real good shape, does it run?
Chuck Most Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 It is in very good shape- nothing more than minor surface rust, a few dents in the roof (no doubt caused by somebody walking on it) and a tent/tear in the driver's side headlight bezel. Odometer shows just over 66,000 miles- as far as I can tell that's actual. Hasn't run since about 2002.
