Crazy Ed Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I'd say the MPC - AMT/ERTL '60 Corvette. Except for the basic Body there's a Case+ of versions just by swapping included bits and changing Engine Options!
rmvw guy Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 and you come across a shipping container filled with a load of a single kit... what kit would you want that to be? Let's say you will have all the building supplies you need, but you need to build that same kit over and over..... What kit would this be?? I'd wish for AMT '53 Ford pickups! I love that kit and it comes with the 3 in 1 versions that you could build different trucks every time! And I could build light commercial varieties the rest of my life! And yours would be? This is it!!!! Maybe this one: http://www.clcboats.com/shop/boats/wooden-sailboat-kits/pocketship-sailing-pocket-cruiser-kit.html My favorite post!!!
Tom Geiger Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 My question.... who sleeps in the "head in use" spot? You or her?
rmvw guy Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 My question.... who sleeps in the "head in use" spot? You or her? ....Wait, you didn't say there was going to be a her, I thought I was sailing solo.
Snake45 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I'd say the MPC - AMT/ERTL '60 Corvette. Except for the basic Body there's a Case+ of versions just by swapping included bits and changing Engine Options! Good choice, but I'd prefer its forerunner '57 kit. But you're right about the variations, everything from factory stock to Bonneville!

FullPowerGarage Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I'd rather be stuck on a island with Sydney Sierota (Echosmith) then a container full of the same kits. And I would stay there with her hahahaha
A.R.C. Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I`d pick an MPC General Lee kit. With that many kits to pick through to find decent parts and that much time on my hands to remove flashing and do bodywork, I may be able to build one complete and decent model.
DrGlueblob Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 ...The entire Evergreen, Lego, and Plastruct product line.
Greg Wann Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Mary Ann.... WOW! Wonderful, powerful choice, John

And I would stay there with her hahahaha Never heard of her until this. Looked her up. Not bad, but I'd take Scarlett over her. For plastic, I like Mike's idea- a container of Evergreen and Plastruct. Between that and assuming a tree or two, I could at least take a shot at making a raft. Charlie Larkin
slusher Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Revell 70 mustangs and I want Jennifer Aniston in the container also. After a few years we will think about a boat....
pharoah Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 WOW! Wonderful, powerful choice, John I thought you'd like that Greg. With my luck, if I was on a deserted island with a case of model kits, I would,'t have any glue or paint.
