Sheepskin Seat Material

With my newest project, I christened it "Feelin' Jeepish." It's a hot rod Jeep, and I just got the best idea.

Sheepskin seat covers!

Anybody know of any material that looks like convincing sheepskin for models?

maybe check the closest fabric store? there's probably some ribbon with bound edges (1/2" = seat width???) that would look okay.

It's nice to sit on, makes nice blankets and pillows as well.

However, seeing the flocking or embossing powder, I think I'll take that route.

You're missing out. Near the end, Shawn has created sheepskin seat covers. They look quite nice.

I did the front seats on this Chevette to represent those fake sheepskin seat covers that we had in the 1980s. It's just gray flocking put on thick and held in place with hairspray.
