atomicholiday Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Here's another one I built about 14 years ago or so. Revell '37 Ford coupe. Just recently found it in a box... in pieces. I had originally tried something different when assembling it and used super glue for alot of it. It was still in one piece when it went into storage, but time wasn't kind to those glue joints. Anyway, just finished re-assembling it. As always, comments and construtive criticism are welcome. Check it out!
TooOld Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Very nice , it looks like a 90's street rod ! ( That's good )
Helix Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Nice build Jeremy, I'm building the same kit at the moment, hope it turns out as good as yours !
FullPowerGarage Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Nice car! Love the way you've made the body removeable!
atomicholiday Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Thank you all! Nice car! Love the way you've made the body removeable! Thanks! I just wasn't happy with the way there wasn't much to hold the hood in place. And I thought the rolling chassis/engine looked pretty cool by itself, so I glued the hood on and called it done. Kinda different.
atomicholiday Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 What color did you use for this? I don't remember what brand it was, but it was just called 'peach'. I got it in a rattlecan at wal-mart years ago. It's kind of a weird color. Depending on the light it can look anywhere from very pale to almost an orange sherbert color.
