Sport Suburban Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 Here is the 1:1 1971 Chevelle Malibu. This is truly homebuilt by my wife and I. Before about 2002 During 1/23/2011 Just registered 5/3/2014
Sport Suburban Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 If you really want to see the build from when we took the body off. Look here:http://smcbofphx.proboards.com/thread/1013/teresas-chevelle-update
tbill Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 great looking car! I did a frame off on a 71 as well, got it to the body being in primer , running, almost road worthy[after several years] and had to sell it. biggest changes I made were to install and wire in an SS dash, and added a non functional cowl hood [no flapper in hood] and put a 12 bolt posi out of a 69 chevelle in it. yours is a beautiful looking car. years later, I bought a 71 Camaro SS, black on black, 350/4sp, 34k miles on it, numbers matching, that's kind of why i'd like to see more of the 70 SS model, I want to replicate the 71 I had eventually, need to find a full bumper and proper turn signal lenses/valance parts.
Danno Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Beautiful stable of work for 2014, Raoul, and Theresa's car . . . well, wow! Truly a labor of love for your love! Note to MCM Forum members: That Chevelle is fantastic! And you should hear it!
