Craig Irwin Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Is issue 191 out yet? Not trying to start a war, just wondering if a trip to the hobby shop is in order. Thanks in advance.
plastic trucker Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I haven't received one in the mail yet.
Guest Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I just renewed my sub after a year off. I wonder what issue mine will start with.
oldnslow Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Got mine yesterday, disappointed in the new print format, the glossy paper is gone.
JohnU Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Got mine yesterday. Don't mind the no gloss paper has less reflection! But man, I gotta say I'm still a little disappointed with editing decisions for the black and white photos on pages that would show more detail in color. Just my opinion! Love the magazine!
High octane Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Hmmm, I'll have to check out my local hobby shop for the new issue. And I need to pick up the new Elapsed Times mag also.
Harry P. Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Got mine yesterday. Don't mind the no gloss paper has less reflection! But man, I gotta say I'm still a little disappointed with editing decisions for the black and white photos on pages that would show more detail in color. Just my opinion! Love the magazine! The black and white pages are here to stay, nothing we can do. I try to use articles there where color isn't that important, but it doesn't alwats work out that way every month. I would love to get rid of the B/W pages and go all color, but...
cotto Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Anyone has the latest issue of the mag? Is it out yet?
oldnslow Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Cruz's S & M Cuda and Tim Hoagland's 33 Willys.
aurfalien Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Hey guys, what issue(s) would say be more Euro centric having 60's era Ferraris and Porsches? I'm looking to buy some back issues.
edward smith Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I haven't seen any mags at Barnes and Noble anymore. Are they still selling them there?
meaneyme Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Yes, we need some Porsches like the Fujimi Enthusiast kind and stuff, not many modelers dare to attack those ones, I hear they are very challenging.

aurfalien Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 While I haven't seen MCM mag yet, @34.65/year it should be top quality color only.
Guest Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I got an offer through the mail from that other magazine of $19.95 a year for six issues. No thanx. With everything that's available on the net, I don't understand why anyone would have a subscribtion to any magazine.
aurfalien Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Well, I don't mind hard copy and actually prefer it. Easier on the eyes and not prone to reboots. But the costs of various model mags seem circa 1980. Its a niche market though. Even a Kindle version would be cool.
Kris Morgan Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 in nobody bought the magazine, be it through a subscription or, at the news stand,, Would we have a free site host by said magazine? Just sayin.
