Platerpants
So i will be using a revell silverado to make a 4x4. well i wanted IFS not solid front axle so its correct. Well AMT Escalade is 4x4. I took a gamble and got this. This will turn into the silverado topic once im started on it. Need to do some trimming though. Not perfect but works for me Edited January 10, 2015 by Platerpants

Platerpants
Since the chevy is a 4x4 it needs torsion bars. Making the mold for the cross members and torsion bars from the escalade. Yes i know the mold is unprofessional looking but its for my personal use anyway. More to come. If an admin could move this to on the work bench thatd be cool, id hate for those nitpickers to start saying this isnt complete blah dee blah blah... Whelen36
Why didn't you mold up new a-arms for the Silverado ? Are they molded to the frame? Just wondering, think i'de like to try that, that Silverado kit was just screaming to be a 4x4. Really nice work.
Platerpants
Thanks Guys. The A arms are wider on the Escalade so I didnt want to have to keep hacking at parts, although hacking is my specialty.
