57peppershaker Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I've just picked up the Revell die cast American Graffiti 55 Chevy c/w Bob Falfa figure. Has anybody cast any other figures ?
glusnifr Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 the milner's coupe from that series has a figure of john milner,,,johnny lightning has several matchbox size diecast cars with 1/25 scale figures ,toad ,debbie and wolfman jack ,,hope this helps
57peppershaker Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Thanks Jim. I knew about the Milner figure with the 32, but was looking for more of a driver, or adapting one. A 'That must be a field car' scene is appealing to me. I'll have a look for the JL cars tho.
mopargreg Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Ive been looking for the American Graffiti figures for years now. As mentioned above the 1/25 figures can be bought in some of the Revell matchbox type cars but they go for crazy money on ebay. I really cant justify spending that much on figures. It would be great if someone cast these! Edited January 11, 2015 by mopargreg
57peppershaker Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 I dont have crazy money either Greg. Sounds like its time to alter some of the Fujimi / Tamiya figures ? Be great is somebody does cast the AG's tho
Daddyfink Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Sounds like a perfect project for someone with a 3-D Scanner and printer
glusnifr Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 your welcome buddy,,..i tried ebay for along time for them and finally won a bid for all three johnny lightnings for just under 30 bucks ,,,,i wish someone would cast the pharoahs car club that would be cool..
7000in5th Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I did research on AG, the restaurant, cars and people in 1:25 a couple of years ago and found some possibilities other than those mentioned above. Here's 'the girl in the white T-Bird' (played by 'Suzanne Somers ) for example: Click above to see the others.
RancheroSteve Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) That is, of course the "Felicity Shagwell" figure (played by Heather Graham) from Austin Powers. It came with a Revell '67 Corvette kit. Oh OK - I see you mention that on your site. Edited January 11, 2015 by RancheroSteve
Junkman Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) You mean the rather delightful Budda, played by Jana Bellan. Edited January 14, 2015 by Junkman
jet Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Search for Jimmy Flintstone resin. All types of figures, including plenty of greaser dudes and dudettes.
gtx6970 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Doesn't a recent issue of the Revell Landy dart have a seated driver figure ?
Daddyfink Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Doesn't a recent issue of the Revell Landy dart have a seated driver figure ? I know it came with a standing Landy figure, but I have not seen one with a seated driver. The Revell Royal Pontiac 66 GTO came with the seated driver in the tiger costume

rmvw guy Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 The 6 figures from Hobby Lobby in a tube might work. They are in all differnt possitions seated and standing. You may want to do some modification to their faces or transplant heads to get the effect. They are all in pink and white clothes found in the section with smalle figures of cowboys, vikings and army men.
High octane Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I forgot 'bout those "Toob People" at Hobby Lobby as I'll be needin' a standin' figure soon. Thanks Ron.
