ChrisBcritter Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Rear bumper is done with Kosutte gin san- metallizer powder over a light blue basecoat. Actually it doesn´t look blue when seen in nature. Of course comparison to bmf work next to it makes different shade to pop out. Very interesting to hear that. I wonder how it would look if you painted the bumper silver, sealed it with clear gloss, and then applied the metalizer?
unclescott58 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Wow! Very nice. I especially like the job you did on the grille guard. Like exterior sun visors and continental spares, I've always hate them in real life. But, it's cool to see it done on a model. Scott
misterNNL Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Nice to see a four door model for a change. It's a shame that all of the model comanys concentrate on the high end or luxury offerings for their kits. Most of the cars I have been able to afford have been "more-doors".Great conversion work and attention to all of the important differences in the body details. Thanks for sharing.

Eshaver Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I'm VERY impressed as I used to own a 1951 4dr Mercury
Harry P. Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Nice work. I love seeing models of cars we don't see models of!
