cruz
Don't believe this guy, he took pictures of the real thing and is trying to take the credit for building it!!!!!!! Edited February 4, 2008 by marcos cruz
Nick F40
NICE Great job, how did you do that discoloration on the exhaust? Even though I'm not a real big fan of him, I do love his paint scheme. If Rossi wouldn't have screwed up, he would had it but, oh well Edited February 4, 2008 by Nick F40
David Thibodeau
NICE Great job, how did you do that discoloration on the exhaust? Even though I'm not a real big fan of him, I do love his paint scheme. If Rossi wouldn't have screwed up, he would had it but, oh well Actually I think Rossi has done quite well with Yamaha! The exhaust heat staining is done in 3 parts. First I cleaned them up and painted them with Tamiya GLoss black from the can. Then I coated them with Alclad CHROME. That is key!! Then I masked off the weld seams and shot various shades of tamiya clear orange, Reds, yellows, and blues going off 1:1 pics... key is to NOT overdo it. Thanks all, glad you like it!!
