YBlock292 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Thanks for all the positive comments! @ Bruce: the garage door and the pavement are super sized photographs glued onto cardboard. "Ugly" or "beautiful" - I find the early 1960s Mopars in any case very interesting, since the styling of those days marks the time of change when the typical 50s styling was fading out and the straight lines of the typical 60s car body shapes had not arrived yet. 10thumbs Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) Dear Harry P., Ludwig just posted the wackiest looking Mopar of all time, the old 62 Plymouth! Fugly. I didn't even know all these old Johann's even existed. Cool cars, and excellent models! Very well done Ludwig. Michael Edited January 19, 2015 by 10thumbs
Luc Janssens Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Nice job on one of the wackiest looking Mopars of all time... It was a mad mad world, back then
unclescott58 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Another ugly '62 Mopar that I like. And another very nice build Ludwig. I'm impressed. Scott
christian-w Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Hi Ludwig! I like the Dodge because it is a face, you'll always remember and if you see one, you recognize it within a second. Nice build! Edited January 21, 2015 by christian-w
minkos Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 nice looking build. i fell in love with these cars after seeing 'its a mad mad mad mad world" when i was 12.
YBlock292 Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Mark, I also do remember the car in that film! And also many other tail-finned vehicles from that period. Ludwig
Plastheniker Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Erstklassige Arbeit, Ludwig! Excellent model of one of my American favourites - what a shame that all these attractive Jo-Han kits are no longer available!
om617 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Very nicely done Dart. These are akward but at the same time cool looking imo.
Dominik Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Well done Ludwig! Didn't knew, that there was a closed Version done - a only have the convertible in the stash, but not in that condition like yours. Like it!
