jjsipes Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) I am looking for any reference picture I can find for a project I'm thinking about undertaking. I looking for engine, interior, exterior and chassis pics of any 60's Dodge Low Cab Forward trucks. Some call them CNT-900. I believe I have seen where they could have been built with either a gas of diesel engine in them. Any suggestions on engines, chassis, donor kits? I have found this web page that has some info on it but would like some more if possible. http://www.allpar.com/trucks/dodge/heavy-duty.html Edited January 19, 2015 by jjsipes
landman Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Are you using an American Industrial Truck Model kit?
jjsipes Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 I was looking at RMR and American Industrial Truck. Not sure which on is best. I have an e-mail into to RMR to see if they have any pics of what you get with a purchase through them.
Chuck Most Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Here are some pics I took of one a few years ago- this one's a 700, but quite a bit is the same. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/?showtopic=76646 http://public.fotki.com/ChuckMost/truck-photos/dodge-grain-truck/
landman Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 American Industrial's version has the cab/hood combination molded in one piece. I wonder how difficult it would be if feasible at all to make all those panels swing open.
