Lucas van H
Hi guys. I hope this is in the right section, if not please move to the right one. I've been slowly looking into the resin stuff, but I'm a bit reluctant to buy in the states because customs always picked my package out (Bought RC parts several times). I always had to pay about 50 bucks to get my parts so I'm not looking forward to that again. My question is: Does anyone know shops that make/sell resin stuff in 1/24 and 1/25 in Europe? Thanks in advance, Lucas.

Lucas van H
Hi GeeBee, I'm looking for wheels, engine parts, and some various bits and pieces. I want to start on smaller stuff to see how it works out for me. Thanks. Lucas.

Lucas van H
Hi matthijs. I know Domino, ordered from them before but I find their site difficult to navigate. They sure have nice stuff but I don't see a lot of resin or hop up parts. Maybe I'm being a numbnut and not looking in the right places. Lucas. Casey
Out of curiosity, do you pay customs duties/fees on packages from other European countries, too, or maybe on every package from outside The Netherlands?
Lucas van H
Casey, we have open borders in Europe, at least postalwise. If I decide to import parts from let's say, Japan, there's a very real possibility that my package gets picked out for inspection. In Europe, I can order from all of the EU countries without import fees. Only thing is that the shipping could be very expensive depending on what company you use. Lucas. GeeBee
Out of curiosity, do you pay customs duties/fees on packages from other European countries, too, or maybe on every package from outside The Netherlands? If you order from a company within the Eurozone, then there is 0% import duty, outside the E.U, i.e the U.S.A, Japan etc, anything over £18 is taxed, (Import duty + VAT) you also get taxed on the amount of shipping charges, for me, because the U.K doesn't use the Euro, the U.K pound is quite strong against the Euro, even taking the shipping into account, it's well worth me buying from other countries that used the Euro as their currency. Lucas van H
For us it's the other way around GeeBee, due to the pound being worth more than the Euro, it makes more sense to order on the continent. I've been looking at Model Factory Hiro and their prices for kits and parts are allright, but what kills it is the shipping to my door. That being said, I will probably order some time in the future, but only if I can't find it here for a reasonable price. Lucas.
