Hey there, this is my first post here.

I typically am a mIlitary aircraft modeler, but have found myself getting burned out.

So...I built a Goat!

It's the Revell 1/24 Pontiac ’69 GTO, built OOB.
I used Testor’s rattle can enamel for the exterior, and Tamiya acrylics for the rest.

Future floor polish for the gloss coat.
A fun kit of something different, and my first of 2015.
A lot of mistakes, but it was fun to use Bare Metal Foil for something other than canopy masking.
Hope you like it

Very nice, especially for a first car effort. BTW, what you have here is not a '69 but a '68 with no vent windows and a '69 spoiler. Could be a typical "street rat" of about the early to mid '70s. B)

Hi Snake, thanks! The kit had parts for '68 and '69 models. I think I ruined the '69 front end trying to get it to fit, and used the other one. That was the only part of the build that gave me fits.

Very nice. FYI, Pontiac engines of this vintage are not orange, but a light metallic blue.

Hi, thanks. I noticed that after I looked around this site a bit, and saw some other's works. The more ya know...lol!

I can relate. The front ends on those Monogram GTOs don't fit too well. It takes a bunch of work to get them to look right. But yours ended up okay.
