raymond Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 something I am working on , almost done. I messed up windshield when cutting so have to get a new one. Also have to add some parts. But 90% done. The boot I took from the 55 vert, cut and stretched.
espo Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Looks real nice. I'm interested in which body you started with. Most of the '56 Chevy bodies other than the Revell 210 or Nomad the body just doesn't look right to me.
horsepower Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 There's always the original '56 Chevy multiple model, just glue the doors shut and go for it.

raymond Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 NICE PAINT! What colors did you use? I go to local automotive paint store. Owner and I have become friends over time. He sells about 8oz bottles of any color I take to him except kandys and pearls. Charges about 5 bucks a bottle. Pearls for about 6 bucks a bottle. He mixed 2 body colors from a picture I took to him of a real car painted those colors. Interior color I mixed myself using his mixes as base.
66belair Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Looks really nice! Too bad they don't make a 56 vert in a kit already.
raymond Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 A lighter , the original messed up windshield, a piece of clear plastic from some Pegasus 1109 rims package and some burned fingertips and whala I have a windshield now. Just have to tweak it a little and it should fit fine.
