Engine Fairings!

First I cut 2 pieces of plastic to close off the ends of the Fairings.

Next I glued the plastic pieces in. Then I glued the Fairings in place.

When I saw the Cherry Bomb mated to the Vette, it made me do the EVIL laugh.

Glad I wasn't standing in line at a store.

Thanks Joe!

Glad you like it... B)

Styline Scoop!

Needed to do something to the hood area, so I added an old Styline Scoop from a 1960's AMT 3n1 Kit.

Here is the Raider with another coat of Primer/Filler. I also put the Engines in place for a quick mock-up.

Ira, what kind of strange dreams do you have? The things you come up with when your awake are definitely "outside the box", but cool to watch.

Thanks Paul!

I dream a lot, but not about about models... B)

Big & Little Raiders!

I recently built one of the New Mobius Cylon Raiders and added complete VooDooFX Lighting and Special Effects. The Big Mobius Raider is about 17" across, almost twice the size of the old Monogram Raider.
I am finishing up a "How To" showing all the steps for adding VooDooFX Lighting & Effects to the Mobius Raider.

More Vents!

I carved down the Rear Roof Section on more of an angle for a better fit. Then I glued it in place.

Next I glued the Cabin Shielding in place behind the Roof. Then I added putty around the Rear Roof Section and sanded it smooth.

Cylon Stylin'...

This part normally fits on the front of the Cylon Raider.

DSCN7881R_zpsde4thov2.jpg

I am cutting this Cylon Part in half and using part for the New Front Grill and the other part for a Digital Display in the Interior.

DSCN7883R_zpsxtugty34.jpg

After a little trimming the Cylon Part fits right inside of the Corvette Nose.

The Other Part!

I cut the triangular shape off the other half of the Cylon Front End Part to make a Digital Display for the cockpit.

After a little Fitting and Trimming I got a Great Fit in the Cherry Bomb Cockpit. Here it is in place.

It's Flying!

I replaced the stock set up for the mount and glued in a piece of tubing just large enough fit a 1/4" Clear Plastic Rod.

DSCN7905R_zps9zid7jqx.jpg

Here is the inside shot. Later, I glued a piece of plastic to cover the end of the tube. Now Raider Vette can be mounted up on the clear rod, flying above the base.
