eborraga Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I recently started building model cars again. It's been 15-20 years since I built my last. Times surely have changed. There seem to be lots of cool stuff out there now. I look forward to searching the site and maybe showing a car or two when I get one finished. Thanks again Ernie B.
JTalmage Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Welcome, from Ohio myself. I too got out of building for many years. Now I'm mostly seasonal haha

eborraga Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Welcome!! Just moved from Shepherdsville, KY 2 years ago to the Nashville area. Check out the Louisville Model Club. https://www.facebook.com/groups/509305305763190/ I found them on Facebook, but haven't been approved yet. It's a little tough trying to find model stuff. Only 2 places in town, and they're about 25 miles from me.
jrherald420 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) I only shopped at Scale Reproductions on Breckenridge Ln, Brian will get you anything you want. Hobby Town USA lost me when the owner treated me like an idiot when i spent 350.00 on a Nitro R/C car. Edited February 6, 2015 by jrherald420
jrherald420 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Dont forget about Hobby Lobby, i think theres 2 or 3 of them in Louisville. 40% off coupon is a god send.
eborraga Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 I only shopped at Scale Reproductions on Breckenridge Ln, Brian will get you anything you want. Hobby Town USA lost me when the owner treated me like an idiot when i spent 350.00 on a Nitro R/C car. I only deal with Brian. I raced r/c there until they tore the track down. I had a major issue with the people at HobbyTown. I went there to pick up a certain speed control for my rc car. While there I helped a guy troubleshoot a problem on his. Owner flipped out and advised me to never come back. They are building a hobby Lobby about 2 miles from me. It will be open March 1st.
jrherald420 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I helped build the 2nd and 3rd tracks and raced on the 3rd track layout. Small world. Lol
SSNJim Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 They are building a hobby Lobby about 2 miles from me. It will be open March 1st. Where is that? I know of the one on Dutchman's Lane and the one off the Outer Loop.
eborraga Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Where is that? I know of the one on Dutchman's Lane and the one off the Outer Loop. Dixie Highway. There tore down Dixie Dozen theater's and built Hobby Lobby. It's in Dixie Manor, across the street from Home Depot.
jrherald420 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 My wifes old office was right above the Gamestop in that shopping center. That area needs the boost that Hobby Lobby will bring!
SSNJim Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Dixie Highway. There tore down Dixie Dozen theater's and built Hobby Lobby. It's in Dixie Manor, across the street from Home Depot. Thanks! I'll check it out next time I'm in town.
