Model builder hack

Just found this site. I have been building models off and on since I was a kid. Just got back in to it this winter after about a fifteen year hiatus. All my paints were dried up! I'm not very good and I don't have an airbrush but I do love to build them. The first one I built this go round was the dirty Donny vantasy. My spray bomb paint job failed so I just distressed it. It looks pretty cool. I just wired my first engine with a prewired distributor on the 50 olds kit. I rushed through the cuda kit as I didn't really like it. Working on the 53 studebaker and 69 gtx kit which is from 1990, I got it at an auction for $12.

Thanks guys. I've been going crazy for models lately. I got three going on right now. Nice way to sit down after work and chill for awhile. I think I'm ready to move from the kitchen table. So I need to find a cool vintage desk.

This is what I'm working on now.

I'm lowering it and moving the tires in closer to the frame. Hope it turns out. I haven't ruined the paint yet either!
