dartman Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Ok I know, not another stripping question but this is different.I have a kit (IH scout if you must know) that I built a few years back.I dident to to bad a job on it but the color I used just dident send me.Now since the cat knocked it on the floor it needs to be rebuilt. There are no broke or missing pieces so I will do it over in a new color. Now the question is this,If Use my oven cleaner going to remove the clear, the color and the BMF.The BMF is under the clear and if it wont come off I will just cover over it all. What do you think.I know, it's a long story just to get to the question.
Belugawrx Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 .........where's the girls at?................. Strip it all,... and do over
Jeff Johnston Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I use Easy Lift off paint stripper. Usually can find it in regular hobby shops. It strops anything and does not harm the plastic.
StevenGuthmiller Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Super Clean will take the foil right off with the paint. Steve
