Hi

After visiting this forum for a long time, I've finally decided to take the plunge and post a build so I've gone for the Moebius Lonestar but building it with the Revell instructions as I found them easier to understand than the Moebius ones. Will be as per instructions, the only change being that I think I am going with Tamiya Metallic Blue for the bodywork. Engine is assembled, chassis glued ready for painting and starting to paint, assemble other parts ready for when the chassis has been painted.

Apologies for the picture quality, taken with iPhone.

Great start on your project, love the blue! B)

I found the Moebius Lonestar instructions to be more complicated than necessary, are the Revell ones more straightforward?

Revell instructions are very easy to follow.

Looking good suggy60. I am about 80% done with my Lonestar.

Great job, so far.....I tell you, this is one of the best models I've seen come along in a very good while.....Now when you get to the little lights and such, you might consider using white glue for all of them instead of all those tiny clear pieces....Testors works great for this.....Then go over them with an orange Sharpie after they dry....I found it to work, quite well....And MUCH faster......But, again, only a suggestion....
