What is this part?

California Hauler by AMT contains this part which is supposed to be inserted in the rear of the frame.

I wonder what it is because I don´t think I´ve ever seen anything like this in the truck frame. Is there a real counterpart of such a cross member? I would like to see a picture of a real thing. Can somebody help me?

I think it was a set of leveling values for the air bags.

Yup that is supposed to be the levers to level the airbags!

Ive seen this too,But how does it go?,it could be attached back there about 3-4 different ways.Anyone have any pictures of what the real thing looks like. Thanks Harvey

I was trying to find such pic on the net but no luck so far. Those I found were much too modern for old Stabilair. I think I wont use it at all and replace it by something more realistic. Though not much accurate for given era.

Pictures of the real deal are most likely hard to find. Somewhere I have a tech manual that has them drawn out - but I have not seen that box since the move. I will try to find them though in the near future .
