chris02719 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 So, life is moving on at a feverish pace. My wife and I just had an offer accepted on our first house! Perfect timing considering that we're expecting our first baby June 27th. I'm looking forward to having my own work space. Right now we're living in my inlaws' basement and while I can work on models here, I'm not supposed to paint anything. Even with my paint booth venting outside. The only downside to all this is that I won't be building anything for a little while between getting the house ready, moving, and the baby coming. I will say with certainty that I will continue to check in here and try to get back to actually building something as soon as I can. Chris
Petetrucker07 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Congratulations man on both. The wife and I are expecting our first baby, a boy, on June 18th. We too will be moving out of my in laws place.
Ramfins59 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Congratulations to both of you Chris and Clayton.
Tom Geiger Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Congrats both Chris and Clayton.... Real life is so much more important than building models. Savor it! These are exciting times for you! Plenty of time to build models later on... ask Rich and I, our 'babies' are around 30!
oldnslow Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Congratulation guys, enjoy the time you have with the young ones. The models can wait.
Foxer Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Grats on all accounts! I think most of us have taken breaks from modeling for house and kids .. but it all comes back and so mush nicer building in your own house.
High octane Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Congrats and good luck to both of you. In the meantime your model kits will only get older.
1930fordpickup Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Congrats ! the hobby will wait. enjoy the first year in the new house with the new baby.
